This session is for administrators and teacher-leaders to learn about and proactively plan for the anticipated changes to OTES, including the role of high-quality student data in analyzing data quality, trends, and patterns for the purpose of improving student learning. A career-technical center and a high school will share their approaches and experiences as part of the new OTES pilot.
Participants will:
- Learn how to begin planning for the changes to OTES.
- Understand what types of high-quality student data and how the teacher’s role in analyzing data to improve student learning is part of the changes to OTES.
- Network with a high school and career- technical center piloting OTES this year.
Speakers: Matt Young, Curriculum Director, Summit County ESC, and representatives from HSTW/CTE sites
