Project Based Learning is an instructional strategy in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to a complex question, problem, or challenge.

Mindy Farry, ESC of Central Ohio
Mindy Farry is a project-based learning instructor employed by the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio, a Buck Institute for Education partner. In addition to PBL training, Mindy trains on OPES, OTES, and substitute orientation. She is also an adjunct professor at Columbus State Community College and supervises student teachers and administrative interns for Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Ashland University. Mindy has been an educator for over 30 years with experience as a high school teacher, and principal. Mindy received a B.S. in Education and an M.A. in English Education at the Ohio State University and completed the Principal Licensure Program at Ashland University.
