A year-long professional development series for district teams of an administrator and one or more math teachers or coaches supporting teachers grades 4-12. The goal is to build local capacity to lead a mastery math approach that results in a student-centered instructional classroom. District math teams applied and were selected in May 2021.

HSTW/MMGW district math teams that have been invited are required to attend all five all-day sessions beginning August 10 – 11. In addition, district math teams will attend two half-day session: a virtual check-in on January 11 and a best practice showcase on March 9

If a district is still Interested in participating, contact the regional office no later than July 27, and be prepared to send a team to the August 9 and 10 initial sessions.

The Math Coaches Collaborative Sessions will be facilitated by Steve Miller, Math Consultant, Summit Educational Service Center. Diana Rogers, Regional Coordinator; Angela Nonno, CVCC Math Instructor, and Tina Cindea, HSTW/MMGW Math Coach will assist with the training sessions, and oversee the district math coaches.
