This is a three-session series designed to begin the process of aligning educators’ beliefs and attitudes in building a culture of social justice.

Session 1: September 12, 2018  Focus on Equity:  History of Marginalization/Current Model.  This session will help you understand the issues facing current practices and discuss needs at your school.

Session 2: October 10, 2018  Align Staff and Students.  In this session, we will focus on transforming from Deficit-based to Asset-based.  We will also discuss equity non-negotiables for proportional representation and creating your own equity model.

Session 3: November 29, 2018  Transform Teaching and Learning.  This session will focus on UDL (Universal Design for Learning), co-planning to co-serve and transforming roles and responsibilities.

Speakers:  Social Justice Consultants and experienced school leaders

Who Should Attend:  Teams of 2-5 administrators, site coordinator, and teacher leaders
