Attend this webinar to learn how to use good questions to prompt and encourage students to demonstrate higher order thinking and use their knowledge in different contexts as designated in Webb’s Depth of Knowledge levels. Questioning is a  tool to hook student curiosity to learn, assess and build foundational knowledge and deepen understanding.

Speaker: Erik Francis, Maverick Education
Erik Francis is an international author and presenter with over 25 years of experience working in education as a classroom teacher, an administrator, a state education agency program specialist and a professional development provider. In addition to his work as an author of several books, he is an ASCD author and a professional development consultant for the Association for Middle Level Educators, First Education Resources, Staff Development for Educators, Inc. and Facts Management. In 2020 he was ranked as #3 in the group of the World’s Top 30 Educational Professionals by the research organization Global Gurus.
