The CSE Regional Best Practices Showcase provides implementing High Schools That Work and Making Middle Grades Work schools the opportunity to share a successful best practice that is implemented in their school as well as to learn about successful practices in other schools in Central/Southeast Ohio.

Luncheon Presentation:  Psychological Best Practice for Teachers

Burnout and compassion fatigue are common challenges for those in helping professions. How do teachers and school administrators sustain passion and manage the difficulties of their work? This presentation will focus on some ‘Best Practices for Teachers’ that emphasize embracing the joys and struggles that educators face on a daily basis.

NOTE:  THERE IS NO REGISTRATION FEE FOR THIS EVENT!

Speaker:
Anthony Mosley, M.A., LPCC, NCC
Executive Director of New Source Counseling

Anthony Mosley (Tony) is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor concentrating in individual, adolescent, marriage and family counseling. As Executive Director of New Source Counseling, Mr. Mosley is responsible for management of staff as well as identifying and developing practices throughout the state of Ohio. Mr. Mosley is a Board Certified Diplomate with The American Psychotherapy Association and has been awarded Certified Relationship Specialist (CRS) with the A.P.A.

Mr. Mosley is an experienced speaker and qualified to lead seminars, retreats, business and parish consultations. His topics include premarital issues, marriage, parenting, adolescence, treatment of depression and anxiety disorders, and interpersonal skills in the workplace. Along with three colleagues, he has co-written an international training program to assist parents, religious organizations, businesses, and social service agencies in how to guide children and youth toward healthy adult lives.

Who Should Attend?

Administrators and teachers from CSE Ohio HSTW/MMGW exploring, planning, and implementing schools.  Schools interested in learning about HSTW/MMGW are welcome to attend.
